Boosting & Fast Levelling Guide [Relaxing WoW Classic]
I thought I would make a video about boosting - it's something that many players will do and it's perfectly within the rules, though it kind of sounds wrong... #Boosting & #Fast #Levelling

Hey everyone, I hope you all are enjoying the wonderful New Year! I've been hugging snowmen here in the UK to keep warm.
...
In a nutshell, boosting is when a significantly higher level player completes most, or all of a dungeon giving the lower level players a huge boost to XP and possibly gear. This can be paid or unpaid, with prices for boosts ranging from 1g - to around 6g per instance.
If we're talking about boosting then you need to know about the group bonus.
If you have 3 or more people in a group then everyone starts getting a bonus to experience. 4-5 players are ideal here. The experience gained is shared between the players in a bit of an odd way.
If you have a group with 3 level 20 players, for example, the split in XP will be shared equally. If you are level 20, and are in a group with 2 level 15's, then you will get a bigger share of the XP. This kind of makes sense, Blizzard don't want lower level players levelling up too quickly.
Additionally, you will get more experience in a group of 4 or 5 than in a group of 2, so if you are level 20, the ideal situation for a boost would be to grab 2 level 15's and a level 60.
Another technique you can use is tagging. The player being boosted will stay out of any groups. Instead, the player will pull an enemy and will hit them at least once. At this point, the higher level player will kill the enemy. The player who tagged first will get full XP and loot. As a level 60 I will occasionally help other random players by killing the enemy they tag.
Before we begin, it's important to know lower level characters will attract far more enemy mobs than higher-level characters, so stay as far back as possible, ideally with, or behind the casters.
Quick note - the minimum level here is the level you can enter the instance, so don't expect to do that much damage or contribute too much at the min level.
Whilst any level 60, or higher level character can boost, some will be better than others. Mages are by far the best class to boost because many can take on and kill a large number of mobs at once. I've also boosed in the past as a warrior, I didn't charge much but every little bit helps when I was saving for my Edgemaster's handguards.
Letβs look at a few notable instances for boosting. On the Horde side, RFC, or Ragefire Chasm is a great place to level quickly, from 10 to 18. There are a bunch of quests for this place too.
On the alliance side the Stockades are very popular but are level 15-30, these are both within their respective capitals... sorry Iron Forge...
Going on Shadowfang Keep runs are great from 10 to level 27 and the drops are very nice on the Horde side.

When players get to level 26-45, they unlock Scarlet Monastery. The minimum level to enter is 21 here, but without a boost, you may struggle a bit. Scarlet Monastery or SM consists of the Graveyard, the Library, the Armoury and the Cathedral.
Getting back to boosting, it's possible for a skilled mage, such as LilBunni here, to pull almost all the mobs in just a few pulls and then AOE them down. Obviously, this takes practice and certain talents, such as magic absorb, which really help. This talent restores 5% Mana per spell resist (at max level), you need to ideally fully resist all ice spells meaning you should have around 45 frost resistance after buffs. I also hear there are a few mobs that cast fireball so some fire res helps.
I hear insignia of the horde, limited invulnerability potions, and free action potions can help if you get stunned or slowed.
so the theory is the resisted ice spells will restore mana from the resisted enemy frostbolt attacks, Mana shield and Ice Barrier will protect you from melee attacks. Enemies can be pulled with rank 1 arcane explosion where needed, and all enemies can be aoe's down.
There are other videos on YouTube which explain this in more detail.
Quick Note: Can you believe Maraudon's minimum level for entry is 30?! The recommended range is 46-55. 30 is very low. If you do go to Maraudon keep any nature res gear, and quality frost gear; if you are melee, it will come on handy for AQ40 later in the game.

Back to the guide -- For boosting Head to Zul Farak from level 39 to 47.
After Zul Farak, around level 47 to 56 head to Western Plaguelands to a place called Sorrow hill, which is just east of Chillwind Camp. It's in the south most area.
