I have wanted to visit the Ashmont-Mattapan High Speed Line ever since I found out about it. It is the only non-heritage transit line to still use historic PCC streetcars, although they have been modified with air conditioning.

The MBTA currently plans to invest millions in upgrading the vehicles so that they may serve for at least another 7-8 years.
