Bot Patrol - A perfect puzzle experience, similar to the legendary Sokoban
What is Bot Patrol?
Bot Patrol is a puzzle adventure, a good evening or three spent with a glass of wine to solve puzzles leading the little bot to freedom.
What are the game mechanics?
Beyond the traditional sokoban style gameplay mechanics, Bot Patrol features an abundance of extended elements, that make achieving the goal a lot trickier. Conveyor belts, cranes, energy barriers and button triggers are added into the mix. Not to forget the evil control bots, that will perish the player upon contact.
And since playing the game is supposed to be a hard but fun puzzle challenge and not rage inducting repetition machine, Bot Patrol comes with a gracious infinite Undo, to take that one step back, that went to far.
What are the visuals like?
It's a highly polished experience in colourful, atmospherically lit biomes, cute animation and varied challenges on every turn.
Who made the game?
Bot Patrol has been developed by solo developer Johannes Richter over the course of 3 years. As a day job Johannes had a varied and illustrious career in the VFX industry, with over 15 years experience in in VFX for movies and games.
As FX Supervisor at Framestore, Johannes' boast an array of VFX heavy Hollywood productions, including; Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Avengers: Infinity Wars, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword or Gravity.
