This game was a big success in the mid 80ties on many different computers, most noteable being the commodore 64, where i also played it first. \nBut it was also imported to the IBM PC and its MS-dos operating system. I never played it on the PC until now. \nAnd frankly i dont like this version because i hate that awful pc-speaker and the poor CGA-colors. But i still find it interesting trying the same game on different game-platforms, to do a comparrison. But i never really got why the PC more or less became the standard computer of the world. But that must be because of buisness-applikations, price and because all companies could make things to it. Because i doubt that it was the games for the pc that sold it - which most other computers were sold on (commodore, nintendo and so on [not that it is wise of me to compare game-consols with buisness-type personal computers, because they are not the same, i only wondered about why PC-games from this era are so inferior in all aspects, thats all]).\n\nIncedently this game was played in dosbox. Ive downloaded this game legally and free from abandonia:\nhttp://www.abandonia.com/en/games/24108/Boulder+Dash.html
