Welcome back to part 11 of my blind let's play series of The Darkside Detective; an indie point and click adventure game which is about solving crimes, investigation and supernatural happenings! We play as Detective Francis McQueen, a detective for the Darkside Division of the Twin Lakes Police Deparment! We have 9 different cases to play through, full of puzzles, humour and light horror!
In this episode, we continue with the Don of the Dead case and try to find a way into the graveyard! We use the Nightstick on the zombies but they're too strong and we collect a Zombie Arm! We head to the next area and open a Dumpster to find an Oil Can! We use the Zombie Hand to reach it and then use the Oil on the Dumpster's Wheels to push it out of the way! We split up with Detective McQueen climbing over the wall and Dooley heading into the sewers! We play as Dooley and walk past an Alligator watching TV, an evil Clown called Poundsmart (Lol) and then find some construction workers who Dooley decides are secret government agents! They leave and we use their drill to try to get through a gate! Then we play as McQueen who is in the Graveyard! We head into a shed and speak to a Gravedigger! He gives us his Boots and Face Mask and we head off to the Water Tower! We collect some Metal Bars and use them on the Boots to make some Stilts! Then we use the Stilts to walk over the zombies into the Church! Inside we find our Darkside equivalents and the Priest! We have to disguise ourself as a zombie to try to lead the zombies away before The Don can be brought back to life!

The Darkside Detective is a 2017 video game developed and published by Spooky Doorway. It was released on 27 July 2017. A limited run of 5,000 physical copies for the Nintendo Switch was released on 26 September 2019.
Detective Francis McQueen, who leads the underfunded Darkside Division must investigate evil occurrences in Twin Lakes City.
Creators Paul Conway and Christopher Colston originally created a short demo at a gaming convention in Galway. The demo was made in under eight hours, but received significant attention after it was posted online, promoting them to turn it into a full game. After decided to enter production on the game, they hired writer Dave McCabe and lead developer Tracey McCabe to assist in the production.
During the development process, the team of five would do group read throughs to discuss issues and ideas, with McCabe then creating an interactive version of any ideas that they had using clipart to allow them to further map out how it would work within the game. Once an idea was decided on, the team would then start creating visuals, animations, interactions, sound and music based around the idea.
