Brawl Stars is an online battle arena multiplayer game in which players battle with other players or enemies controlled by artificial intelligence in different arenas. Players choose from the many brawlers they have unlocked, each with a different style of play. Depending on winning or losing a game, players may receive or lose trophies. This affects not only each individual brawler (which may increase in level depending on the number of trophies on that brawler), but also the total number of trophies of the player. The "Trophy Road" rewards the player after reaching a total number of trophies, from new brawlers to coins, gems and points used to update each brawler separately (which can all be found in the "Brawl Box" "bought from the store or obtained by chips, won after each victory; however, there are a limited number of chips that can be obtained in one day, (namely 200). The game also includes a" Brawl Pass ", which can be bought and, similar to Trophy Road, offers the player rewards, but depending on the number of chips but not trophies, as well as different challenges, some for each brawler, which rewards the player with chips.
Brawl Stars offers many game modes, most 3 vs 3, such as Gem Grab, Brawl Ball, Heist, Bounty and Siege. There is also Showdown, which can be either Solo, where 10 players fight individually, or Duo, where there are 5 teams of 2 players each. Occasionally, these game modes include the addition of new elements to diversify them. In addition, there are a few game modes that only become valid on weekends. Players can invite their friends or members of the club they belong to to join their team to play together.
The game currently includes 51 brawlers, divided into 6 rarities: Rare, Super Rare, Epic, Mythical, Legendary and Chromatic. Depending on how hard you get from Brawl Boxes. There is also the 7th rarity, Trophy Road, which includes brawlers that can only be obtained from Trophy Road, but also the 8th rarity, which can be found on the Brawl pass, which costs 169 gems, and in the third you get the brawler of that season.
As they attack enemies, the brawlers charge their "Super" (Ultimata), a special and unique ability for each brawler, ranging from healing nearby allies or becoming temporarily invisible, to placing a turret that automatically attacks enemies. . Each brawler also has two abilities called "Star Power", which become accessible at level 10 (maximum level) and are passive, meaning that they are constantly active and do not need to be activated by the player; however, each brawler can have only one Star Power equipped. There are also "Gadgets", which become accessible at level 7 and can be used a limited number of times in each match. In addition, each brawler can have several skins, which are purely cosmetic, changing only their physical appearance and can only be bought with jams from the store, as opposed to Star Powers and Gadgets, which can also be found in Brawl Boxes.
