Hands down my pick for the best song of Mega Man 4, if not one of the best of the franchise, Cossack Stage 2 has always held a special place in my musical heart. It's a piece of music that somehow conveys an emotional mood exceptionally well, which is especially incredible considering the limitations of the NES. Every time it comes up, I want want to jam to it for hours!

This particular interpretation is done as a story of sorts, with the synths portraying Cossack and the chiptune parts representing Mega Man. Really wanted to get across the tragic feel of the song explaining Cossack's situation, up to the reveal of Wily's machinations and our hero setting off to save the day. Hopefully it's clear enough!

Omnisphere, TyrellN6, Memorymode, Super Audio Cart, and a few others comprise the meat of the song. Really wanting to wield more hybrid chiptune stuff soon!
