I like escape room maps, and these are the same five puzzles you see over and over again. And that’s not a bad thing. A trope is a trope because it works, after all. And it’s a short-hand that, as people are familiar with them, can be used to make more original puzzles stand out, or allow you to subvert expectations entirely.
