Fairfax have had a $300 million dollar bid accepted for the Canadian Toys R Us stores / shops by both Canada & US courts meaning that the TRU name is saved.
Fairfax are an investment company that look to turn around failing businesses, they clearly see an opportunity with Toys R Us in Canada & have said they are looking for US stores as well!!!
Every chance we see Toys R Us reopen in several key locations within the United States before the end of 2018
If the Canadian & United States stores do well then expansion into Europe will surely not be too far behind... fantastic news for toy collectors especially WWE Mattel figure fans who collect Fan Central, Network Spotlight, Elite, Basic, Battle Pack, Defining Moments figures as well as Toy belts and playsets.
