If you extrapolate the 9,000 shareholders that own 11m shares, you get over 5bn shares in issue, which is strange as there should only be 513m.
Now you could say that its way over cooked, because people that own 1-2 shares wont vote, but at the same time, Blackrock/Vanguard wont be voting who own over 20m shares each.
How can we be certain that the count is accurate? with an 11,000 sample size of 4.1m holders, we can be 99.99% certain that there is maximum a 1.85% margin of error, so the share could is 5bn +/- 1.85%.
There have also been some large buy orders by pension funds & institutions.
