Path of Preservation may seem like a cowardly path, hiding behind shields, but when done right, this path brings great destruction and ensures survivability. The key to significant damage from the resonance is to keep building shields so that the total shield between all allies would significantly contribute to the resonance's damage. The best Defense is the Best Offense!

Characters that you may use:
As for now in v1.0, you have March 7th as your first preservation character, Trailblazer as your second as the story progress. They are easily available free-to-play options.
If you have been lucky, Gepard will be another choice.
For Path of Preservation to work optimally, do bring:
+ TWO preservation characters
+ ONE healer as an insurance
Your fourth character could be anyone but it should not be empty so that you can take advantage of more shields.
Important cards to pick:
Resonance Formation
No. 1 to pick - Resonance Formation: Isomorphous Reaction
This blessing allows you to recharge your resonance fast so you can keep using your resonance to dish out significant damage!
You want to lessen resonance downtime to keep bosses' minions away like Svarog's giant hands.
No. 2 to pick - Resonance Formation: Zero-Dimensional
Your resonance will have more damage since most of the time you would be able to keep all your characters shielded.
But having a faster resonance charge is still more important than having more damage.
3-Stars (Gold) Blessings:
Divine Construct: Macrosegregation - PRIORITY UPGRADE No. 1
This blessing grants the ability to stack your shield tremendously.
It should also be upgraded to give a better-starting shield bonus.
2-stars (Blue) Blessings:
Interstellar Construct: Sanctuary - PRIORITY UPGRADE No. 2
This grants shield at end of every turn.
It should be upgraded because you want to be 100% sure your characters gain a shield to stack their shields
Interstellar Construct: Hypoeutectoid
Especially for March 7th, this blessing allowss her to cast her shield on someoneando gain a shield herself.
Interstellar Construct: Quadrangular Pyramid
This allows any shield caster to gain tougher shield. The more DMG your shield can absorb, the more
1-star (Grey) Blessings:
Construt: Firmness - UPGRADE PRIORITY NO. 3

This Curio boosts your resonance damage which is where most of your DPS is coming
Sealing Wax of Preservation
While you are on the path of preservation and working towards your resonance formation, this curio helps!
Faith Bond
This helps with upgrading more preservation blessings so that you have an easier time with the Elites and Final Boss!
You should always keep choosing preservation blessings in order for you to get the resonance formations which improve your gameplay further.
Even if you can't obtain the above suggested blessings, here are some of the best alternatives:
Quake-related preservation blessings:
Quake blessings are more likely to appear as preservation blessings the moment you picked Resonance Transfer or Metastatic Field. They don't help with resonance damage but they still dish out decent damage!
