Breaking The Rules: The Roman Tournament is the debut project of the independent Italian studio BTR. The title is an extension of the work awarded in the Havok Physics Innovation Contest' 2009 (3rd place). The action of the game was set in Rome, where champions of martial arts come from all over the world to compete in an uncompromising tournament. The player directs the actions of one of the eight available warriors. The choice of the hero made at the start determines the style of the fight and the arsenal of blows. The skirmishes take place in 8 arenas, reproduced on the basis of authentic sceneries of the Eternal City (including Piazza di Spagna, Ponte S. Angelo).
