Breath of The Wild w/ Steam Controller - Radio 8BC [No Mic - 2/2]
After ~300 hours playing on Switch my capture card died (you can see the beginnings of it’s downfall here: https://youtu.be/JfHWxPk-70E). I dual boot and I’ve been looking for a good capture card that works both in Linux and in Windows but I haven’t settled on anything yet. I’ve been following Cemu for a while but never got around to getting it set up, but now it seems like the ideal solution. It also allows me to play with my Steam Controller which is a nice bonus. The only problem is I’ve got about 300 hours on Switch and I’m starting over from the beginning on Cemu.
Cheats to the rescue! Until I get caught back up to where I was (all shrines and Divine Beasts, all quests completed, all inventory slots upgraded, and all my gear upgraded to where it was), I’m playing with infinite health and stamina, no weapon or shield degredation, infinite arrows, and infinite champion powers (when I acquire them.) I’m also keeping a map open to guide me back to Koroks and Shrines (map I’m using: https://www.zeldadungeon.net/breath-of-the-wild-interactive-map/) Once I’ve caught back up to where I am on Switch, I’ll disable all the cheats and get back to playing as the game is intended to be played.
First order of business is getting all the towers activated and completing any immediate shrines along the way. I’m also going to hit the divine beasts at the same time, to cut down on back tracking. After that, I’ll move area by area and clear every shrine in an area before moving on to the next, collecting immediate Koroks along the way. I spent many hours criss-crossing over the map collecting Koroks on Switch, for Cemu I am going to try not going too far out of my way for them, unless it’s pretty clear that I’m not going to have enough seeds to fully upgrade my inventory.
