This talk explores how the fusion of AI and Earth observation technologies are transforming our understanding and conservation of the biosphere. We will discuss the application of these tools in addressing environmental challenges, from climate change to biodiversity loss. Through examples of the latest advancements in satellite imagery, machine learning, and data analytics we show how these innovations improve not only ecosystem monitoring and protection, but also fosters a more sustainable interaction between humanity and the natural world.
