1. Contra - It's a very common game that pirate multi-cart makers love to put on pirate multi-carts. This game is awesome (although I sucked at it during this demonstration).
2. Side Pocket - This is another "sports" game (which is actually very good, although I sort of sucked at it during this demonstration).
3. Double Dribble - This is YET another sports game (which is actually quite good - for an early basketball game). This is the game which I play in full - on LEVEL 3, no less. There is one tip to defeating a LEVEL 3 CPU: Corner Threes (or 3-point boosters). The Corner 3s (if you line it up right) guarantee an automatic shot. I suppose defense helps too.
4. Gun.Smoke - This is the first Capcom game on this multi-cart. The last three were either made by Konami or Data East. This is a very good game, but there is one problem on this multi-cart: some enemies teleport on the bottom (as if they learned instant transmission). That glitch (which does not happen on the real cartridge) kind of ruins Gun.Smoke. Yes, I managed to last over a minute, but eventually one of those "teleporting" enemies got me. (I think there is a version where enemies "teleport" all over the level, too). Too bad, because this game is better than the arcade version.
5. Legendary Wings - This is the second (and only other) Capcom game on this multi-cart. This game (thankfully) is not glitched, so one can enjoy it's gameplay without being hit by a "teleporting" enemy. However, I SUCKED at it, so I do not have too much footage to show you. At least I was able to get to the first horizontal-scrolling level. I will explain more with CC.
6. Castle Vaina (Castlevania) - Nice spelling of Castlevania (on the title screen) - I guess pirate multi-cart makers cannot spell properly. Whatever, let's talk about Castlevania. It is an early platformer (made by Konami). I sucked at it somewhat, but at least I was able to beat the first boss. There are sub-weapons in the game (like the II and III icons and the iconic sub-weapons you have come to known and love in these games). While I prefer Castlevania III (over Castlevania) simply because there is more than one playable character in Castlevania III, Castlevania is still good. I will explain more in CC.
7. Jakal (Jackal) - I guess "Jakal" is close enough (for them, at least) to be spelled correctly. Jackal is another shooter on the NES/Famicom (although this time you are a Jeep). This game is a very good game. I am not sure if you can do CO-OP (although I THINK you can). I will explain more stuff in CC.
8. Firefighter (Flying Hero) - This is like the game Game & Watch "Fire", only with power-ups. I tried to get to stage 5 (in this attempt), but I could not. It's a very good game. It also seems to be very similar to Arkanoid.
P.S.: I managed to get to stage 5 (which is the first scrolling stage in the game) in my second attempt (and past that point too). The scrolling levels are not too difficult, either: I think it keeps the firemen near where you appeared (when you are coming down).
Hmmm....this is a very good multi-cart (not only to emulate, but to get as well). 1/2 of the games on this multi-cart are made by Konami (Contra, Double Dribble, Castlevania & Jackal), while 1/4th of the games on this multi-cart are made by Capcom (Gun.Smoke & Legendary Wings). 1/8th of the games on this multi-cart are made by Data East (Side Pocket) and the other 1/8th is made by Aicom (Flying Hero).
So you have a mix of Konami, Capcom, Aicom and Data East games. All of them are very good. Also, aside from Gun.Smoke (which was glitchy), they all work.
Normally, I do not have "second attempts" on my channel. However, in Flying Hero, I wanted to show you Stage 5 (which is the first scrolling stage in the game).
