Router 1:

LAN IP Address: 192.168.4.101 to 192.168.4.1XX
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.4.1
DNS: 8.8.8.8

Note: You don't need to do anything for computers connected to router 1.

Router 2:
You need to go into your router and change the settings to these parameters.

LAN IP Address: 192.168.4.201 to 192.168.4.2XX
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.4.2
DNS: 192.168.4.2

DHCP disabled (This must be disabled, nor this setup will not work)


Computer 1 connected to Router 2:
Go to
1. Network Connection
2. Local Area Connection
3. Internet Protocol Version 4
4. Add IP Address
LAN IP Address: 192.168.4.202
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.4.2
DNS: 192.168.4.2

Computer 2 connected to Router 2:
Go to
1. Network Connection
2. Local Area Connection
3. Internet Protocol Version 4
4. Add IP Address
LAN IP Address: 192.168.4.203
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.4
DNS: 192.168.4.2
