A stroke victim's remarkable journey has been brought to life in a comic strip.

Thanks to the new technology of telemedicine, Victoria Hamer has made a full recovery after she was struck by the serious medical condition.

Her moving story, alongside the work of Dr Ingrid Kane, consultant stroke physician at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust, was brought to life by artist Nicola Streeten and put on display in Brighton's Jubilee Square.

It was one of four tales in the Stories from Front Line exhibition which aimed to illuminate the personal and ethical issues of illness and healthcare through individual's experiences.

It formed part of the Brighton Science Festival, in collaboration with Sick festival.
