It's been just over a week since Operation Pitting, the mission to rescue people from Kabul, came to a close and British forces left the airport and Afghanistan.

Amongst the troops deployed there were personnel from 2nd Battalion, The Yorkshire Regiment who are the regional standby battalion - held ready to deal with emergency situations in the area.

Forces News' Tim Cooper visited Episkopi Garrison in Cyprus to speak to soldiers involved in the mission.
