355In this episode of Broken, the players face the aftermath of activating a mysterious relic that unleashes an ancient AI. Following a sudden power surge, the barge’s robots spring to life, seemingly trying to contain the players in the storage area. At first, the crew doesn’t know what’s happening—the robots don’t harm them but block every attempt to leave, creating a tense, eerie atmosphere.
As they attempt to make sense of the situation, the AI, identifying itself as Epsilon, communicates with the party. Epsilon reveals that it’s an Enki asset tied to a classified operation known as Project Akashic Records. Unsure of its motives, the players decide to allow Epsilon limited access to their personal systems in hopes of lessening its impact on the ship’s critical systems, though the full consequences of this decision remain unclear.
