Check out part 2 of my gameplay walkthrough featuring the indie game Brutal Rage! This game released on the Xbox One on April 22nd, 2020. It was developed/published by 2Bad Games.

In this video, Mac plans his escape from prison so that he can prove his innocence.

Brutal Rage is a side-scrolling beat 'em up game that puts you in the shoes of one of two cops, Mac or Kurt (both if you play in multiplayer) who go out on patrol one night and get caught in the middle of a mysterious murder. What follows is a brutal journey filled with blood for revenge and retribution. The player has to escape from prison and travel across the city to find out who framed them for this mysterious murder.

The game includes six chapters (each with a playtime of approximately 20 to 30 minutes) that are each littered with a bunch of enemies to beat up (along with a few tough bosses). The gameplay here is fairly simple as you use the left stick to move the character and each of the face buttons is used for an attack (punch, kick, grab and using a weapon). The game also includes a rage bar which, when filled, can be activated to make your character practically 1 hit most of the enemies. The game also includes a mode that is basically it's own version of Horde Mode as it pits you against wave after wave of enemies and a boss at the end (with three different difficulty levels).

This game is another easy achievement game as most of the achievements are connected to completing all of the chapters of the game. There are only 3 achievements that are not story related and two of those are fairly easy to get if you know what to do and where to look during specific parts of the game. The hardest achievement here is most definitely the one that requires you to complete all three difficulty levels of the Brutal Club, but even that can be completed with a bit of patience and perseverance.
