Budget 2012: Rise in service, excise tax would imply extra Rs 80-90 cr revenue VIDEO
Hitendra Dave, MD, Head of Global Markets, India at HSBC Limited says that there are reports that service tax, excise tax rates might be raised from 10-12 per cent, which would imply an additional Rs 80-90 cr tax revenue for the government. He also speaks about the liquidity cruch, borrowings and rate cuts by the RBI.
