Much to the surprise of everyone, the developers of this game updated the game after so long with extra content for the 5th anniversary of the game's release. v1.2 includes fishing, new medals (a couple of which I use in this video), and a new superboss to battle. For me, the new fight is the most important thing and can be accessed via the B.O.S.S. in the Bee Kingdom. I am fighting the EX version of the fight, but not in a boss rush.

Because this fight is done through B.O.S.S., you can't spy on them, but you can have the Spy Specs medal equipped to see their HP and Defense. Luckily for me, the strategy I've been using for pretty much the whole game still works here. Taunt + Bubble Shield Lite is just too strong. You do have to watch out for Kabbu and Leif as they do have attacks that hit the whole party (Dash Through and Icefall), which ignores Taunt. Kabbu should be the main priority as he has the most annoying actions to deal with. His Taunt forces you to use Attack and nothing else. He can also revive Vi and Leif with Pep Talk. I noticed Vi and Kabbu can also use items (including Magic Seeds and Miracle Shakes for reviving each other), so probably take out Vi after Kabbu. I don't think Leif uses items or maybe he rarely does, but the only threatening thing he can do is Icefall. I'm kind of disappointed they don't use team attacks. Oh well.

This is the Steam version of the game played on Hard Mode.
