i started this mother's day weekend but it ended up taking longer than i thought.
usually my animatics are individual frames exported into a video editor, but i wanted to go back to storyboard pro for a bit! especially since doing some 'tweening is fun. makes everything look a bit smoother :)

haviland stillwell did such a cute job on the cameo for joel that i felt compelled to turn it into a video. i based a bit of triffany's design off of her! (particularly her bangs)
i have no idea how to draw joel since he's either depicted as a beautiful man or a walking pill.
also do you ever realize how niche yet effortful something is when it's too late to back out of it? well here's to the tiny venn diagram center of vinesauce + bugnsax fans.
and i'm a humanization freak as you know, so i tried to squeeze in as many cameos (haha) as i could. i can spend weeks on a video 5 people will understand but drawing a muppet? out of my depth. at least i get to draw a milf
