In this episode of let's play Starbound Frackin' Universe, we discover a new feature in the mod, based on an old standalone mod, which allows you to tear down your character's ship and build your own ship (aka BYOS), complete with all the functional furniture you need.

To see how to build your own ship, we start a new human character and tell SAIL that we want to build a ship instead of stick with the default one. Then we see what you need to do to get going with the new feature, including what you need to build extra fuel hatches, captain's chairs, FTL drives and more in let's play Starbound Frackin' Universe ep 17.
