Star Wars Outlaws by @UbisoftMassiveEntertainment uses traditional game AI techniques for the non-player characters that appear in the game world. But when they jump on a speeder bike, everything changes. We dig into how Massive Entertainment's AI team collaborated with the @Ubisoft internal technology group to build a machine learning pipeline for controlling the speeders using neural networks inspired by work developed at @ubisoftlaforge7026 .
