In this episode, Fox is BUILDING THE PETROLEUM ROCKET!
The steam powered rocket is good enough to get to the 2 nearby carbon asteroids, but it can't go much farther, and we need a lot more research data than what we've gotten thus far to finish our rocketry tech tree.
This is where the new upgraded engine comes into play, the petroleum engine! Instead of steam, it's going to combust petroleum for propulsion. The problem is that it also needs a supply of condensed oxygen to allow the engine to actually ignite in the vacuum of space... this means we need to both bring up petroleum from inside out base AND build an oxylite refinery to begin producing a more transportable form of oxygen for the rocket to burn.
