This time I wanted to take a look at two simpler games that just recently released. Skybreakers is a top-down hack-and-slash focusing on tightly designed character kits with promise as a simple but speedy interpretation of the formula. Witchcraft Survivors, by contrast, is a Survivors-style game in the traditional sense with a magical theme and separate character classes with a good number of spells exclusive to each. Both are mechanically easy to comprehend but still have some depth in builds and the low entry price means there's some fun to be had here if you like the genre.
