Edited out some parts to make the clip shorter as it was my first playthrough, which took longer than usual.

Strategy:

** Phase 1
- Avoid the roots
- Target and destroy pods when they turn red
- Repeat to reach phase 2

** Phase 2
- Avoid spore balls. You can shoot these to make them explode/
- Try to constantly avoid being in front of the boss's mouth by sliding back and forth the area.
If it tries to yank you over to it, repeatedly tap E to free yourself
- Target and destroy tentacles when they turn red
- Repeat till Phase 3

** Phase 3
- Shoot the neck when it turns red
- Shoot it in the head to finish it off
