Being a victim of violence whether by a bully or a stranger is not cool. Fortunately, the cliche "there's an app for that" rings true with the iPhone/iPod Touch sports app by The Illusion Factory. This app features world karate champion Johnny Gyro and his wife Noel both serious black belts (Johnny 8th degree black belt and Noel 5th degree black belt). The premise of this application is to teach kids' to defend themselves from anyone who try's to harm them. There are a number of karate moves with low, moderate, and severe responses. The videos are well done, short and informative. While this app is great for kid's, adults can definitely use this app as well to learn tips on defending oneself from becoming a victim.
