I want to love this game, I really do, but it's its own thing enough that I think i need to deprogram myself a little and learn to love the turn assists. Also, for all my confusion over the UI or desire for other elements, I -did- notice in editing that there's a ring around your waist with a "next checkpoint" arrow on it, so I'll have to remember that next for my next attempt.

So yeah, takes some getting used to, but feels worth learning. And maybe a tutorial video batch or training for each function wouldn't hurt. Looks stunning visually, though.
