Burn-in prevention screen 1 feature in the game (Sam & Max: Hit the Road)
Random thing that happened in the game when you let the screen idle for more than a minute. Still...it's a nice addition they put in the game, I almost thought that it was a glitch at first before realizing that I left the screen on and idle for several minutes because of something important that I had to do first before continue playing the game. The idle screen keeps looping and repeat until you press anything to get back in the game.
Note: Turns out the reason why they made this animation was to prevent screen burn-in in the older monitor. Back then, old computer such as Windows XP or older (MS-Dos for example) often get screen burn-in if you set the brightness too high or let it on for more than 30 minutes (Could be more than 30 depending on your computer). In the past, my Windows XP had the same issue too especially if it's a game that automatically set the brightness to max when running so when I play Sam & Max: Hit the Road on my Windows 10 now, the burn-in prevention screen doesn't give that much impact compared to when I...for instance, still used my old Windows XP to play games (Including Sam & Max, I mean)
