Bus Driver Simulator 2019 - Worth It?
1No Music.. No Talking.. Just driving a Bus in Russia someplace and my thoughts on gameplay in the About section....
Scenario: Serpukhov City - Along Voroshilov Street
A simple day trip from the railway station to Lenin Square. It's lunch time in a working day, which is why the bus is not full. The route goes along Voroshilov street, it contains very few turns.
Not on the level or price point of Bus Simulator 18, Fernbus, Tour bus etc..
It has a lot of work left to become a competitor in the BUS gaming business.. many barriers to still cross.. but its a "start" I guess.. the Buses do have a nice rocking suspension and a feel of a bus ride.. the graphics are below todays standards but passable.. would be better suited as a tablet/phone game.. The "people models" are half drunk or zombie walkers.
If you purchase any of the DLC, remember you still have to GRIND in game to unlock them? senseless I know, but that's what they have decided to do with it.. no incentive to purchase DLC. maybe in another year or two it will round out as an "ok" game. The only good thing is the game sells cheap and that is where it belongs at this point, bargain bin type game. I can't honestly say buy it except maybe at 50% off or better, at this time.. its an under 5 dollar purchase at best currently. It has a game breaker feature in a way that if you miss one time schedule stop, you never recover and continue into the red on future stops.. no reason to continue playing at that point. They really need to "think" this game out a bit more. I wish them the best..
Note: They have now mentioned they will make DLC available to use at purchase in "the future" without having to use in game currency also, when "the future is", I don't know..its been in early access over a year now.. and for the game breaking problem of going deeper in the red at every stop, once you miss your first stop time.. I was told to.. just go faster...lol .. sigh
