Cat Ballou (1965)

I was noodling on a geetar and I could not get this song out of my mind.. Has to be one of my Favorite Western Comedies of all time! Nat King Cole and Stubby Kaye sing their way in and out of the plot with folk songs from start to finish.. Lee Marvin racked up the awards on this one!! In his Oscar acceptance speech, Lee Marvin concluded by saying, "I think, though, that half of this belongs to a horse somewhere out in San Fernando Valley," a reference to the horse Kid Shelleen rode, which appeared to be as drunk as Shelleen was.. If you enjoy comedy and westerns.. and you haven't seen it.. you must live under a rock.. go watch it already!
