The complete Playthrough for this challenging game.

Blast off with Buzz Aldrin in this exciting and unique strategy game from Interplay and Strategic Visions, 1993/1994. Take total command of either the American or Soviet space program. Research and construct rockets, capsules, and satellites, recruit astronauts and cosmonauts, and launch missions across the solar system. Your goal: be the first to land on the moon and return safely!

With five capsule systems per side (one man, two man, three man, four man direct ascent, and minishuttle), this game offered a tremendous variety of gameplay options and paths to achieve your ultimate goal. Besides historical paths, it also features some missions that were explored but ultimately decided against, including joint lunar missions, direct ascent, and the reusable mini-shuttle, as well as hypothetical super-heavy rockets like the Nova and Vulkon, and the manned orbital lab. Apollo 11 astronaut and the second man to walk on the moon, Buzz Aldrin, also contributed as a consultant, as well as allowing his name and likeness to be used for the game.

This turn-based strategy game was originally released on floppy disk. This playthrough features the later compact-disc release, including voice acting, many more videos, and some additional gameplay tweaks.
