"after running the program you read a report about your task with hints concerning the needed equipment. press fire to enter the shop where you can buy the required equipment. when you have finished just select mission and press fire to start.

you are the little black guy. during your missions you will see also some red and blue guys. the red ones are the terrorists and the blue ones are allies.
however, whether blue or red everyone will return fire when you attack them.

what you can do and what you need:

food/fish: while walking you become exhausted after some time. then you need to eat a fish. if you have none your energy will reduce very quickly.
bait: you can use a bait at a lake or river. with a little bit luck you will catch some fish (one fish per bait).
bomb: the bomb can destroy everything except water or an abyss. if you use a bomb at a tree you will gain some wood.
wood: wood can be used to build a bridge over water or an abyss.
arrow: weapon over a distance of five squares. beware, you enemies also have arrows and even your friends. but they won't attack you until you fired first.

the commands:

look: look into any direction and the little black guy tells you what he sees next to your location.
take: sometimes you find useful things during your missions. better take them.
use: this is for using the things i explained above.
abort: when you notice that you can't complete the mission anymore select abort to restart the mission with the default conditions. you will not lose lives when restarting a mission.

Would have been a whole longplay had the third and final screen not completed itself for some reason (too much gold in my pockets?). The end message is simply "keine weiteren auftraege verfuegbar" which means "no further orders available".
