Not a perfect longplay as I messed up somewhere. You'll see the wonky edit. Sorry about that. There's a better longplay by AI82 on this site, anyway, though the picture is a little too crystal-clear (big pixels) for my taste.

STORYLINE:
"... you had thought at first to be only foreboding, through your mind like the sharp and shining blade of your sword. You woke up feeling excruciating pain and you didn't have time to react to this state of torpor or run for cover. You turned towards the sky and immersed your gaze as if inside a palette of colours. The blue of the sky, as you had seen it a few hours earlier, had been blended with the black pitch of darkness. A dark light, so dark that its image escaped human eyes, had appeared in the skies.

The gentle Fulax had been replaced by Septerios, the bearer of death and ruin. Fulax had not yet been definitively swallowed but, soon, its beneficial power would have been swept away by a catastrophic eclipse. In the depths of the underworld a sinister messenger of darkness awaited the right moment to come out into the open and give the command of looting and destruction to his flock of demons. It was shaped like a snake and its proportions were far from reassuring. Never before has such a deployment of forces and wickedness been seen. The snake already foretold that it could sit at the feast of human flesh, also strong in its magical power, so powerful as to prohibit any man from approaching without being destroyed.

His eyes shone with a light that drew its brightness from the underworld; his movements were swift and secure, lightning-fast and deadly. A single nod would trigger the advance of all sorts of brutality. Almost certainly if, still, there was no hope. A hope hanging by a thread since the outcome of the enterprise was entrusted to an amulet, kept in the past by the great priests. This amulet was the only means against the evil. Think of the time that divides from the eclipse as the sand that passes from one part of an hourglass to another. Finding the amulet is of paramount importance, it is a matter of life or death and you have to try everything to recover it. Once found, the perfidious snake can be annihilated. Septerios must be wiped out and the creatures of darkness buried forever in the darkness of the underworld."
