C64 Nostalgia & Current Woes - Vlog Thingy 7 Oct 2022
26I found a whole bunch of my old Commodore 64 tape collection! So, I wanted to test these out, see if they still work and possible sell/trade them (like that'll happen...). But, this wasn't as easy as I had originally thought. It took many more dives into the collection piles and onto some online marketplaces. But, in the end we did get there!
So in this vlog I go over how I finally got to a working setup and the obstacles I came across along the way, but also talks a bit about the system and my memories of it in general. What do you think of the Commodore 64? What system did you have access to when growing up and were there any you wish you had?
I'd like to go through my collection on stream and will attempt to get this started on Sunday (Oct 9th, '22). Let's hope nothing blows up this time! Loading (forced down) times make for a good way for me to test things out and figure out how I can make the chat (if there is any) work for me.
