Didn't realize the microphone was off until I was done. So here's the skinny: the object is to shoot the little satellite things with green or red beams scrolling through them. Getting all of them will clear the level. The maze icon takes you to a maze, and I think it's there to collect glowing dots for additional points. The round target-like icons are warps to other spots in the level, and there's also a square one that's a level warp, but I didn't locate it in this video.

It's a fun game, but it gets difficult quickly due to the ship's momentum combined with fairly loose control. It's very easy to run into things accidentally. But no one said being a zone ranger was easy, right? Right.
