INTRODUCTION (From the manual):
The aim of the game is to get Caesar to clear the larder of mice by catching them and taking them out through the door. Under your control Caesar can walk in either direction along each larder shelf, as well as jump up or down the shelves.

While Caesar prowls the larder the mice are busy devouring food but they can be caught by Caesar if he pounces on them. They don't stay still for long, especially if Caesar is on the same shelf.

When you catch a mouse a door appears leading out of the larder. Once through it, and out of sight, Caesar drops the mouse and is ready to return, under your guidance, to continue hunting. The more mice Caesar catches, the faster the remaining mice move.

As the mice continue to eat, items of food disappear from the shelves.

REVIEW:
You have to catch the mice before they eat all the food, but watch out – Do not knock down the blue and magenta jar, you will lose 1000 points for this, and if you knock down the red jar it is Game Over.

There are 3 levels and on every level you have to catch 10 mice. On level 1 they are black, on level 2 they are blue and on level 3 they are red. For every level the mice moves faster and eats faster and your points is counting down all the time, so you have to catch a mouse before the score reaches zero.

If you complete level 3 the eaten food is replaced and the game loops.

This game makes excellent use of the Spectrum's graphics potential with a huge colorful sprite moving fast and smooth around on a highly colorful and detailed screen. The controls works fine, the gameplay is very original, easy to pick up, and can be played by everybody. This version is modded with in game AY music by Himik’s ZxZ.

The game was published by Andromeda Software in 1984.
