1"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3" (MW3) is a first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games, and published by Activision. It was released in November 2011 as the eighth installment in the Call of Duty series and the direct sequel to "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2." The game continues the story of the previous titles, focusing on a fictional conflict between NATO forces and the Russian Ultranationalist party, led by Vladimir Makarov.
"Modern Warfare 3" features a single-player campaign mode, cooperative Special Ops mode, and the popular multiplayer mode, which includes various maps, game modes, and customization options. The game received generally positive reviews for its intense gameplay, cinematic presentation, and multiplayer features.
