Call of Duty WWII - Meme Build Multiplayer Montage (Episode 02)
A special supply drop calls for a special video. It was too perfect.
This is only the first chunk of this entire recording session; I was genuinely having so much fun that I kept playing for over an hour thinking I might need the footage. Turns out I made a little too much.
I had a very bizarre technical difficulty while trying to edit this video. At a precise three second interval between 8:38 and 8:41 of the 1h 13m of footage that I recorded, any media player I tried to use to watch that part froze the player, Windows Explorer and any other process I tried to use for roughly three to five minutes. OBS couldn't remux it, other video converters either froze or spat out a failure message upon reaching precisely that point, nothing was working. My solution? Use OBS to Display Capture my second monitor and play the video on that screen from just after the point where the recording seemed to be causing the freeze at 8:42. After it ended, I recorded it from the beginning but paused and stoped the recording at 8:35, then remuxed and used that recording of the recording instead. I have no solid conclusion as to why or how this freeze was happening, but my only real guess is that it may have been caused by Alt-Tabbing with the game open. I genuinely don't know with certainty what the cause was, but that's not going to stop me from tooting my own horn at the multiverse brain solution I used to work around it.
Music used:
00:00 - "Bass Cannon" - Excision
00:40 - "Kill Room" - Delta Heavy
