How To FIX Camera App Icon Missing On iPhone:
Solution For Camera App Icon Missing On iPhone:

1. Search For Camera App

Before diving into more advanced fixes, ensure that the Camera app is not simply misplaced on another home screen or in a folder. Swipe down from the middle of the home screen to open Spotlight Search.

Type Camera in the search bar. If the app appears in the results, press and hold it, then drag it back to the home screen.

Also, with iOS updates, the App Library organizes all apps automatically. Your Camera app may have been moved there accidentally. Swipe left on the home screen until you reach the App Library.

Use the search bar at the top and type Camera. If found, press and hold the app, then drag it back to the home screen.

2. Screen Time Restrictions

If the Camera app is still missing, it may be restricted in Screen Time settings. Therefore, it won’t be visible on your home screen.

Step 1: Launch the Settings app on your iPhone and select the "Screen Time".

Step 2: Inside the Screen Time menu, select "Content & Privacy Restrictions". It should be turned on by default. Here, select the "Allowed Apps & Features" option.

Step 3: Ensure the "Camera" toggle is turned on. Now when you go back to the home screen, it should take a few seconds before the icon reappears on the dock.

3. Force Restart iPhone

A simple forced reboot can often fix minor glitches and restore missing apps.

For iPhone 8 and Later:

Step 1: First, locate the side (power) button and the volume buttons. The buttons will all be on the same side.

Step 2: Press the Volume up button once, then the volume down button once. Immediately, long press the side button for about 10-15 seconds. Ignore everything that happens on the screen, including the power menu, until the screen goes off.

This will force a restart of your iPhone. Simply wait for the Apple logo to appear, then release the button. You should now be good to go. The iPhone will restart normally, hopefully clear of whatever issue had forced you to reboot it.

For iPhone 7 and 7 Plus:

Press and hold both the Volume Down button and the Power button (Side button) at the same time. Keep holding both buttons until the Apple logo appears, then release them.

For iPhone 6s, SE (1st gen), and earlier models:

Press and hold both the Home button and the Power button at the same time. Keep holding both buttons until the Apple logo appears, then release them.

Turn your iPhone back on and check for the Camera app.
