76In 1983, Chris Sievey (later known as Frank Sidebottom) released a 7" single. The A-side was the song 'Camouflage'. On the B-Side was some ZX81 computer programmes created by Chris. One of which was a music video of sorts, which you synchronised to the music after first loading in the programme over audio cables from your record player into the ZX81. This is that programme, running on actual ZX81 hardware (now 35 years old!). The song was played in live as you would have done back in the day but I've replaced it in edit for clarity and I've polished up the video a little but as its filming a screen, its not ideal.
Possibly the first computer generated music video. Enjoy!
