Lawyer Campbell Maccallum pushed his client to get cocaine before making a line together after leaving the Supreme Court with drug criminal released by conditional evacuation. At that time, his 48 -year -old Gold Coast lawyer was under surveillance by Queensland's corruption observer. Maccallum, who has been a lawyer for more than 20 years, was later accused of money laundering and with drug crimes, but after the other charges were stopped, he was found guilty of only five cocaine in the Brisbane court on Monday. Queensland lawyer Campbell Maccallum was sentenced to three months in prison. The first crime occurred in January 2020 that detectives took medication from a man in Varsity Lakes. About two months later, Maccallum's partner admitted that he was "secreting drugs" on his body during a police welfare control. Prosecutor Brendan White had wrapped himself on a towel because allowed officers go to bathroom where he washed substances said belonged toilet. After a customer was sentenced to prison for cocaine ownership, he immediately took him to Maccallum Gold Coast, after he was released on May 18, 2020 with a conditional release at the Brisbane Supreme Court. Detectives, cocaine and 3.5 g of drugs that regulate the collection of the customer said they discussed. The couple discussed cocaine text, quantity and purity of customer while waiting in car. "We will enjoy trip to Labrador - the nose is ready," he said before we provide a cocain series consumed in vehicle. Maccallum was accused of finding cocaine on Broadbeach on July 6, 2020. White received significant professional assistance for TSSB and ADHD, which has not been untreated since its arrest, and rehabilitated from the regular weekend cocaine. Defense lawyer Patrick McCaffferty Kc told the court, also regretting, apologizing and was deeply ashamed of behavior and his influence on family. A series of cocaine with a customer showed a terrible lack of judiciary. "But it should be seen in the context of a person with addiction problems." Brisbane Chief Magistrate Judge Janelle Brassington found that Maccallum, who risks everything he has built over the years, including his reputation, would be uncomfortable again. He found that mental disorder led to the use of cocaine to mask or manage the increasing symptoms of TSSB and ADHD. Maccallum was also fined $ 2500. After leaving the court, Brassington Maccallum would not be under illusion about the conditional release conditions of Maccallum's client. He continued "They are behaviors that will seriously affect trust of community on justice system and weaken trust of people." Maccallum was a law firm manager who carried out his application and made serious import decisions to him, customers, personnel and community. Brassington sentenced Maccallum to three months of imprisonment behind the bars, and he was completely suspended for 12 months for a property accusation where a conviction would be recorded.
