Can I fix my stupid Logitech Mouse Button? 01-13-25
1My stupid mouse has been driving me CraAaAaZZZYYY for a very long time.
It goes through phases where it'll start randomly registering multiple clicks when I'm just trying to hold down the button to drag a window or folder, which ends up dropping things into other windows or into other folders, and all kinds of crazy stuff.
Oddly enough, it randomly works just fine for extended periods, and usually if I click on "remove device", then remove the usb receiver/dongle, and reinsert it, it will start working, but NOT if I just unplug the receiver/dongle and just reinsert it without uninstalling it first.
Things like that made me suspect it was a software issue, rather than hardware, but today I decided it was time to find out, and either fix it, or break it enough to give me an excuse to replace it. lol
