I wanted to stream some Atari on my Birthday, but I was sick, so I was a little late getting to it ;P
I'm using emulation since I don't currently have a way to set everything up using real hardware.
But I do have an adapter that allows me to use a real old-school Wico stick with the emulator, and I also try out my custom Pizza Box Arcade Controllers (one is left-handed, the other is right-handed, because when I was a kid, Joysticks tended to be on the right side, until the Sega and Nintendo consoles released joysticks with the stick on the left).
I LOVED this particular game when I was a kid, and got it for either Christmas or my birthday. Played it for hours and hours :D
Funnily enough, it can be one of the simplest, easiest games ever, OR it can be a real challenge! :O
That's the magic of the 3rd game variation, which randomizes where the objects are, and setting the dragons so they don't have a long pause after they attack.
I ended up just walking through my first level 3 game because I immediately got the sword and ran into all 3 dragons and killed them, and then it was just a matter of carrying a few items back and forth, since nothing was left to kill me.
But THEN I played level 3 again, and HOLY CATS! Got my butt handed to me lol
It got tough real quick! lol
