In the recent March Developer Update video that Amazon Games came out with for New World, one of the items they revealed was their 2022 roadmap. This roadmap was broken up into Spring, Summer, and Autumn segments to showcase all the big content updates coming out for New World. This included new weapons like the greatsword, a new zone being Brimstone Sands, and multiple new expeditions and items! However, all this new content begs the question: Will this be enough? Will this be enough to really impact the game and will it bring back players?

I decided to do this video essay to discuss that - what exactly is going on with New World now, what this content means, and if it will be impactful enough to fix any of the issues this game has been suffering from. So give it a watch and please give me your thoughts!
