Can You Beat Skyrim With Only The Sparks Spell? (Text Form)

The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim has no shortage of spells for your character to use. You can bind the demons of Oblivion to do your bidding, or you can bend the very will of just about anything you set your eyes on. But there is a spell that you will always encounter in your first dungeon that is rarely used or even thought about. Hello friends, my name is Frog, and today we answer the question; Can You Beat Skyrim With Only The Sparks Spell?

Like all of my Skyrim runs before this, the rules were straightforward and simple in the grand scheme of clapping Alduin’s scalie cheeks.

Rule 1 - All damage must be done with only the sparks spell, any other damage dealt by me would make the run invalid.

Rule 2 - All shouts used are allowed strictly in the sake of progression such as using Clear Skies on High Hrothgar to climb to the throat of the world.

Finally, Rule 3 - No followers were allowed for the entirety of the run unless scripted by the game itself.

With all of the rules covered, let’s get into the video.

We all know how Skyrim starts. Ralof berates us for being asleep, Lokir feigns innocence, and Ulfric can’t speak because he screamed the high king to pieces. Stepping off of the cart, I chose a Dark Elf as my race due to the fact that they start with the sparks spell straight off the bat, and after spending 800 hours designing the way I looked, I named him Astos as a little reference to all my Final Fantasy homies watching the video, and if you have a suggestion for a name in future videos, be sure to let me know in the comments below.

I listened to the captain commit a literal war crime by telling Hadvar that even though I wasn't on the list, it was fine to execute me despite having no evidence of the presumed crime I had committed. Before meeting my makers, Alduin made an oopsie and rescued me, which would eventually be his downfall.

Running through the town and leaving children to die, I reached Helgen keep where I was met by Ralof who removed my binds and told me to desecrate his friend's corpse, which I took the opportunity to do. Facing off against the Imperials who thought they could ambush us, trust me when I say it has never felt so damn good being able to kill things in the opening sequence. I gave the Imperial torturers a big shock, electrified the hairs off of the creepiest enemies in Skyrim, and gave a bear some electroshock therapy before stepping into the outside world.

Watching Alduin fly off into the distance, I took solace in knowing that I was going to be able to destroy the very thing that saved my life. It was not his decision to fight my suicidal tendencies for me, and I was going to take his life for saving mine.

Stopping by the ritual stones to get my sweet exp boost in the ways of Gandalf, I made a quick detour through embershard mine simply because I actually could in this playthrough. Using the training I had gotten from the Sith Lords before my time in Skyrim, I looted the chest inside, and left for Riverwood.
