Can You Beat S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat With The RP-74?
4I already did it in the prior two games, so let's give it a try during our latest excursion into the Zone. That's right, I'm talking about playing the third entry of the three original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games! Once again, we'll be taking the RP-74 into battle. Save any prayers for your enemies. They'll need all the luck they can get when pitted against a soldier wielding an RP-74.
Admittedly, this video may appear to have been rushed. While this is not the case, it is clear that (if you've partaken in or seen any challenge runs of this game) a lot of weapon-based runs in this game tend to involve collecting a stockpile of artifacts to sell to Beard at the Skadovsk before reaching Pripyat, all while completing the pre-Pripyat story missions without the need to kill any in-game enemies (mostly "collect X item" and "speak to Y person"). This is typically the case for runs of this kind that involve the use of late-game weaponry (such as the RP-74). I don't wish for every challenge run video I make on this game to say "I collected X amount of artifacts before reaching Pripyat", but I am aiming to switch things up, where possible, for future runs like this for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat. Plus, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat has a very short story compared to the former two games (SoC and CS).
My apologies for any audio bugs towards the end of the video. The audio in the original recording appears to be the same (buggy as all heck), though I did my best to remedy this by greatly reducing the volume. This was also one of my older runs of this game.
While I don't typically upgrade in-game weapons in my more recent runs, I haven't adopted a ruleset that prohibits these from being used. In other words, go crazy with 'em.
