I made this ring to see if it`s possible to make one from wood shavings and not only veneer like other woodworkers have done and it`s showed that is possible and very simple to make, only the plane needs to be sharp.
First Ring (with stripes) is made out of Rosewood and Maple and It`s glued with CA glue and finished with natural beeswax with mineral oil.
Second Ring is made of Rosewood, Maple and Teak and it`s glued with waterproof wood glue and it`s finished with CA glue.
Both rings are very durable but the second ring is a little bit softer because it was glued with wood glue and not CA glue.
